Q. Why should I have you steam clean or power clean my tile & grout, when I can do it myself with a mop or brush and chemicals?
A. Not only is it back breaking work, mopping alone cannot achieve the kind of results I can. In fact, when you mop or scrub your tile, you are grinding and pushing dirt & grime into the pores of the tile and grout. I professionally blast the dirt out with super heated water vapor at up to 95lb psi. Talk about blasting the dirt out! I power down and focus on the grout for a deep and powerful clean. You just can't get grout any cleaner than with high pressure steam!

Q. What items can you clean?
A. My main focus is on the grout. Normally this is one of the hardest areas to clean in your home. My professional steam cleaning methods (high pressure hotter than steam vapor) provide you with amazing results, that cannot be achieved with chemicals alone.Often I am asked to clean wall tile and floor tile but often will include sinks, tubs and toilets leaving you with a clean and disinfected bath and kitchen!

Q. Can you guarantee results?
A. Some tile floors are 30 or more years old and have never had a comprehensive cleaning. However, even with these old floors I can often achieve amazing results.

Q. I am thinking of selling my home should I put a new bathroom in or restore it?
A. Most real estate investors agree that the 2 most important rooms in determining a home's value are the kitchen and bathroom. You can spend 10s of thousands of dollars to totally replace these rooms but often you will likely see little profit after deducting these costs.
However, if you spend just a few hundred restoring these key rooms you can add thousands to the value of your home putting money in your pocket. Even if you are not selling, proper maintenance is important to maintaining your home's value and beauty and can prevent major problems before they happen!

Q. Why refinish?
A. Surfaces restored and refinished by Surface Genie are extremely durable and long-lasting--up to 15 years. I use only the best coatings and materials.
Process works on porcelain, fiberglass and acrylic resin. Restores worn out bathtubs, sinks, showers and ceramic tile to a like-new condition.

Q. How does the refinished surface look?
A. I perform all of the work, personally assuring a professional appearance and long-lasting adhesion, with meticulous cleaning and preparation before applying the new glaze. Results are a porcelain-like new appearance.

Q. How long does the process take?
A. There is no demolition or tearing out of old bathtubs and no plastic inserts. The finish is sprayed on and the entire process takes only 4-8 hours. The reglazed surface can be used after 24 hours.
